PRODUCTS WE USE

Roofing and siding are a diverse assembly of products, performance and relative cost/benefit ratios. Below is a breakdown of the major product groups consulted on, estimated and installed by Bristol Engineered Metals, LLC.

Standing Seam Metal Roof Systems

When Bristol started in 1999 it was standing seam metal roof systems the company was built upon.  Bristol has installed hundreds of thousands of square feet of metal roof panels.  Bristol is not a dealer or distributor for any manufacturer but is a certified installer for many. Therefore, Bristol can provide and install most any specified roofing product.

Single Skin Metal Wall
Panels

Single skin metal wall panels come in various materials and profiles.  From concealed fastener to exposed fastener products, single skin refers to the roll-formed nature of the uninsulated product.  Most often, single skin wall panels are installed over a sub-girt and insulation system to provide the desired R-Value of the project.  Bristol works with the largest national manufacturers of single skin metal wall panel products to easily provide and install the desired look for the project.

Aluminum Composite Material (ACM)

Aluminum Composite Material, or ACM, is one of the more “high-end” looking products on the market today.  Incredibly versatile, ACM can provide an incredibly unique look to a project due to its ability to be formed into almost limitless shapes.  ACM is available in a very wide range of colors and finishes.  Bristol is set apart in the industry by working with several national fabricators with the capabilities to tackle difficult designs but is also able to field-fabricate ACM panels when required.

Insulated Metal Wall Panel Systems

Insulated metal wall panels, or IWP, started as an industrial only type of product. Designed to be the entire wall of a structure, installed over structural steel, IWP has grown from industrial only applications to more architectural in nature. IWP is able to provide the desired finish, profile, and R-value for a project, all in one exterior wall component.

Extruded Aluminum Wall and Soffit Systems

Extruded aluminum products have the benefit of almost indistinguishable aesthetics from natural wood without the color fading and deteriorating nature of wood. Extruded products, by their inherent nature, are sustainable and maintenance free. This makes them a perfect alternative to natural wood.

Mechanical Screen Wall Systems

Bristol has installed tens of thousands of feet of mechanical screen wall systems. Made from extruded aluminum, the louver style screen walls are aesthetically pleasing and maintenance free. Screen walls are an efficient way to hide roof-top or ground level mechanical equipment while bringing an additional design feature to the project.

Fiber Cement Wall Panel Systems

Fiber cement wall panel products have become a valuable alternative to traditional siding. Unlike other siding products, fiber cement products from Nichiha and others, provide a more “finished” look. And being maintenance free makes fiber cement a worthwhile siding product.

OUR PROCESS

STREAMLINING PROJECT DEVELOPMENT

We believe the process of a project’s development is as important as the final installation. Having Bristol on your project team during the developmental stages will streamline the overall building experience – desired products, in budget, with real-world, buildable details as a part of the architectural documents all lead to a common ground and no surprises at bid time. We hope you will contact us on your next project that could use our expertise.
